This letter was sent to one of the members of the Restoration, and we are also publishing it here. Gloria's Mother was refused entry to a funeral at the Church of God Restoration. She was a former member and minister in the Restoration, and had know the family of the deceased for 20 to 25 years. Seems Gloria's Mother had done nothing, nor said anything bad about this family in any way, then why would she be refused entry to the funeral?
As well saying the family refused you entry, I believe to be a lie. I cannot believe that these families could come up with such radical ideas, but rather the evil ministry of this group, has dreamed this up, and forced it on the family.
Can anyone in that movement tell us where in the scriptures it teaches us not to allow people at our funerals. This is like the old saying, "...shooting yourself in the foot...", and that is exactly what this group is doing. You would think that if the CoGR was really the seat of all truth, they would want all to hear the truth, all to attend every meeting that they have. They used to talk about how that funerals were great places to reach out to the sinners. If we are such sinners, then why cannot we attend the funerals and hear the real truth, perhaps we might hear the truth, and find the God of the Restoration. The problem is, we have already seen through this, and their God again proves to be the meanest on the planet. They are indeed "HORRIBLE".
They no longer let just anyone attend their campmeetings, meetings, or funerals. You may have been life long friends, but if the group decides you are no longer important, "...you do not have the right to exist...", see the Eighth Criteria on the front page of our site Dispensing of Existance, they have and will cut you off.
The exclusivity of this group is reaching new heights. Like the tower of Babel, and God will have to bring them down. They think they are so mighty.

Open Letter to the Church of God Restoration Ministry. - By Gloria Froese
I'm pretty angry right now. I mean, I'm not surprised, at all, but still....I was hoping that there was still possibly a thread of human decency remaining in some people in the COGR. Apparently I was wrong. My mom just called. She wanted to go to Agatha's funeral to honor her memory, right? Agatha had meant a lot to our entire family, and Mom decided that she could be brave enough to go to her funeral. Guess what? Oh wait- you're probably not surprised, either. Mom was informed the usual, that "the family has requested that you not be here." Seriously, what is UP with that? Ok, so for me you had an "excuse" of why they wouldn't let me in, but what about my mom? What has she ever done to deserve this kind of treatment? Why? For that matter, why was I not allowed at Davids funeral? Whatever happened to Christian love and forgiveness, huh??? There is something fundamentally wrong about an institution that will not allow ex-members to grieve someone that they knew and loved. I was talking about this with Chad the other day, and asking him WHAT kind of people/group did this, and he quietly replied: "a cult". I'm sorry, Church of God Restoration (CoGR) Ministry, but you have just reinforced my knowledge in the horribleness of the COGR. See, this isn't even basic human decency. Pretend that we had no religious disagreements of any sort. Pretend that religion didn't exist, for that matter. In the interest of social decency, and possibly human kindness, wouldn't you think that it's common sense that when someone dies, people are allowed to come and grieve? Wouldn't you think there something seriously wrong if they were asked to leave?????????????????? What have we done to you, besides leaving? (err...rather being kicked out!) What have we done to deserve the meanness, the nastiness, and the ostracisation that we have suffered over the years from the COGR? Have we performed mass genocide? What had my parents ever done but obey Danny Layne like whipped puppies, and then in the end, being hated by everyone for it?? Christian love? Christian....anything? If the COGR is Christian, I want nothing, and I mean NOTHING to do with Christianity. You have no idea of how much you turn people away from God....and it's blood that is going to be on the hands of anyone that participated in such behaviour. Thankfully, I know that the true character of God is sooo much different from anything that is exemplified in the COGR- otherwise, I'd want nothing to do with him. Do you wonder now that I fight the COGR and all its evilness?? Enough said? I would like some answers please. Proper answers. Not ones that evade the question, or give me useless answers. You know that I don't appreciate things that end up in rabbit trails, etc. I want some good, solid answers, and I think you the CoGR ministry needs to have enough integrity to give them to me. Don't you ever wonder what happened to make the COGR, such a den of raging, hating people? Can you answer any of this for me? I'm sorry, but I'm really, really, REALLY angry. How, in God's name, is this right? I'll be waiting to hear back from you. Thanks!
